To the members of General Grand Council Greetings,
I am James W. Bard and I am hereby stating my intent to be a candidate for the position of Trustee at Large for the Board of Trustees of the Cryptic Masons Medical Research Foundation (CMMRF). I am a Past Most Illustrious Grand Master from the state of Georgia. I have served for the last 9 months as an alternate on the Board. In this time as an alternate on the board I have submitted 2 short articles for publication in the “Decryption”.
My career was as a Registered Nurse for 50 years, the last 35 years of that was as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in the Emory Healthcare system in Atlanta, Ga. During my career as a CRNA, I authored two articles that were subsequently published in a peer-reviewed journal.
I became Chairman of the Grand Council CMMRF committee before becoming a Grand officer of the Grand Council. In my tenure as a Grand Officer, I was Chairman of the CMMRF committee for 4 years, during that time our donations from Georgia to CMMRF went from about $2500 per year to about $12,000 per year and Georgia was consistently in the top for donations.
I think my career makes me uniquely qualified for this position and I ask for the support of the General Council. If elected will serve with zeal and enthusiasm for the betterment of our Charity
