David Ulrich MIGM of Indiana 2019-2020

I was born on June 20th, 1958 in Howell, Michigan. Son of Michael John and Carol Elaine Ulrich. Graduating from Howell High School, Howell Michigan in 1976. Joining the US Navy in the fall of 1976, and serving both active duty and reserve status for 12 years. Attending Collage at Ohio Institute of Technology, in Columbus Ohio graduating in 1979.

Both my Father and Grand Father Herman Ulrich were members of the Masonic Lodge #38 in Howell, Michigan as well as my older brother Joe Ulrich who joined the lodge in Rochester, NY. I am one of 4 children having a younger sister Linda and younger brother Robert (deceased). My Wife Marcia Ulrich of 24 years is from Warsaw, IN. She has worked for Zimmer/Biomet Inc for 43 years. We have 3 children between us; Our son Christopher Michael, and 2 daughters Teresa Ann Ulrich and Kayla Jean Konkle.

I have been employed for 15 years by the State of Indiana, State Maintenance Supervisor at the Air National Guard Base, 122nd Fighter Wing in Fort Wayne Indiana.

Masonic Bio

My Masonic career came to light in a small lodge south of Shreveport, Louisiana, Landmark Lodge #214 AF&AM. June 14, 1984 I was Raised to the sublime degree of a MM. When my then current position with General Motors as a tooling engineer changed, a position came open in the upstart new assembly plant being built in Fort Wayne, IN. which I accepted and transferred my membership to Three Rivers Lodge # 733 F&AM. Where I was installed as WM in 1993-94.

Fort Wayne York Rite Bodies – 1987. Served as HP in FT Wayne Chapter #19 in 1994-95, Ft Wayne Council #4 1995-96, and Eminent Commander Ft. Wayne Commandery #4 in 1994-95. Receiving the distinction of Eminent Commander of the Year 1995. Receiving Knight Commander of the Temple (KCT) in 2005.

I received further light again, being invited to receive the Order of York in Indiana YR College #55 and having served as Governor in 2001-2. Receiving the Order of the Purple Cross in Mobile, AL. in 2002.

Knight of the York Cross of Honour in Indiana Priory #8 in 1997. Serving as Eminent Prior in 2012-13.

Convent General Knights of York Cross Honour – Personal Representative to Grand Master General Convent General KYCH from 2015 – 2020.

AMD Pokagon Council #147 having served as SM in 2005.

Member of the Scottish Rite Fort Wayne Valley, Fort Wayne, IN.

Holy Royal Arch Knight Templar Priests (HRAKTP) exalted into Tabernacle A in 1998 and became a member of Gennesaret Tabernacle XVII in 2017.

Other various Masonic offices and affiliations active and demitted including: Indiana Grand Commandery 2000-2003, serving in the west as; Sword Barrier, Warder and Standard Barrier. Mizpah Shrine, Fort Wayne, IN, Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Old Fort Forest #194, Grand Tall Cedar in 2002. Royal Order of Zanzibar, Indiana Grand Council of Cryptic Masons.
