Microbrewery Tour

Portland is the new microbrewery capital of the world! During this evening tour, you will learn about the microbrewing process, enjoy hearty microbrew samples from among hundreds of locally-produced varieties, make new friends, and have some fun! Relax and enjoy local nightlife while our designated driver guides you through Portland's microbrewery maze!

This evening tour is normally scheduled from 6:00 PM to 10:30 PM, but we're flexible! Because we travel in small groups, options are available to adjust our itinerary according to your wishes as the evening progresses. If you'd like to visit a particular brewery, we can easily include it. The beauty of this tour is that no one needs to sacrifice by being the designated driver! Just leave it to your EcoTours guide/driver. Microbreweries have extensive food menus; so you will be able to choose your own dinner options.

Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls/Mount Hood "Loop" Tour

The Columbia River Gorge Waterfalls Tour is usually combined with a "loop" around Mount Hood, Oregon's tallest mountain. This tour is normally scheduled from 9 AM to 5:30 PM. The following is a sample itinerary.  Lunch can be purchased at a restaurant.

You will enjoy the visit to Multnomah Falls, Oregon's most famous and tallest waterfall at 620 feet. EcoTours will provide plenty of time for you to enjoy the ten-minute walk up to the Benson Bridge between the lower and upper falls for views and photos, and to visit the Nature Center and Gift Shop.

Lunch time will be spent at Hood River, "the windsurfing capitol of the U.S.A." We'll drive you through downtown area and point out some of our favorite restaurants, then leave you on your own to eat and look and browse through this quaint, compact town.

After lunch we will travel to the pinnacle of our day, Timberline Lodge, at 6000 feet. Here, you'll be treated to incredible high alpine views of snow-capped Mount Hood and the surrounding Cascades. You can enjoy a walk through the historic lodge and the trails with sweeping views of the Cascade Range. This is the Lodge featured in the Jack Nicholson film "The Shining".

This is an all-day tour.    Light walking at each stop.
